Jai Galliott is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Philosophy at Macquarie University, New South Wales, Australia. His work focuses primarily on the ethical issues associated with unmanned weaponry, soldier enhancement and cyber warfare. He also has a keen personal interest in other applied topics such as firefighting ethics. Prior to commencing his university studies, Galliott served briefly as a commissioned officer in the Royal Australian Navy and also has over five years’ experience as an operational firefighter.
